MYP Job alike in Bangalore - April 2010

MYP Job Alike Session
Curtis Beaverford would be in Bangalore for the pre authorization at Stonehill on the 12 and 13th of April so he has kindly consented to be present in Bangalore from the 10 and 11th April for the SAIBSA MYP Job Alike Session. Hence the venue and dates of the MYP Job Alike session has been changed.

1. It would be held in Indus International School, Bangalore (instead of Kodaikanal International School).

2. Dates : weekend 11th (Saturday ) and 12th (Sunday)April 2009.

3. I am posting the revised MYP agenda which can further be modified taking some of the suggestions from Curtis.

4. Given below is the revised agenda and Curtis has agreed to fine tune it with your inputs. Further we need to incorporate the second day agenda restricted to being till mid-day so teachers can take the flights back home to be on time for school on Monday, if that is what they choose to do.

Suggestions are:

(a) to take SLE on second day and

(b) Curtis’s suggestion " I wouldn’t mind somehow working on running the MYP with IGCSE examinations – to get those schools to come up with common strategies. I will have done a similar session before the conference with mostly Australian schools and could bring some of that to the table. That could run before or after or as a job alike session on the first day. “You may have other ideas too so just post it there.

4:20 – 4:45 Closing session followed by tea
