Integration of IBPYP & IBDP ( SAIBSA)

An Integration of IBPYP & IBDP activity took place during PYP SAIBSA (South Asian International Baccalaureate School Association) job a like session for the teachers hosted by DRS International School on 23rd January 2010.

The Diploma Programme students volunteered to assist the PYP team in hosting and coordinating the event smoothly, as a part of their CAS activity.

This activity helped them in enhancing their knowledge about PYP and also exposed them to the IB PYP Community existing in Asia.

The students were appreciated for the team work and coordination at various levels.

CAS Gallery Report

On the occasion of the school Annual day celebration the DP students put up a CAS gallery and exhibited their work by means of different posters, banners, power point presentations and hand outs.

Shreya was the key organizer of the event who was significantly, cooperated with Yu Tanaka, Tabarak, Alekhya and Suraj, Nishanth.

Whilst the hectic schedule for the preparation of annual day was going on these students did not give-up and continued preparing for the CAS gallery.

Eventually, it was their hard work which brought them strong positive outcome in the form of plenty of commendations, applauds from the chief guest of 1st day of annual day, Mr. Lingdoh, Ex-Chief Election Commissioner and also the chief guest of the 2nd day annual day Smt. Karthika Reddy, GHMC Mayor.

The amount of time both Chief guests and other dignitaries spent with DP students asking about their CAS experiences and valuable suggestions they added to it boosted up the gusto.

Many guests and parents visited the CAS gallery rendered their valuable suggestions and had generous approbations for students' involvements in such activities and their genuine concern towards whom they share only one relationship i.e. Humanity*.
